These species were chosen, first of all, for their nativity to the biome (Atlantic Rainforest/ Mata Atlantica).

Closely following on second, is their potential for commercial exploration, in the luxery and exclusivity markets. Embrapa has been a huge help in providing scientific papers on many obscure rainforest tree specie. These whereby you can gain insight, and make a judgement, in commercial value.

Below this paragraph, is the sheet I use to keep track of all species. From acquisition, to when the leave the greenhouse/viveiro. As much as possible I try to describe where they came from, and how they were treated during their first few months.

A planilha abaixo chamada Master_Croqui é a visualização de onde estão as plantas no campo. Ela faz a ligação entre o campo, e os arquivos de cada uma espéci, onde mantemos as informações de adubação, crescimento, colheita etc. Separadamente, para cada uma individua!

Below is an example of a sheet I use, to keep track of each and every individual tree planted, their GPS coordinates, growth rates, etc.. I’ve got 1 separate sheet for each different species. That’s because there is too much information for all of the species to go into a unified sheet, imo. Also, there are already 5000 trees in the field, walking around, editing sheets in the field, there;s a big chance you screw up your whole sheet without knowing! Better Hedge.

O tipo de solo do SAF, seguinte o mapa de solos de embrapa, a area é na transição de:

PVA8. (PVA=argilsolo amarelo/vermelho). 8= PVA distrófico + CX Tb(argila atividade baixa) Distrófico

cx12. (CX=Cambissolo Háplico) Tb(argila atividade baixa) distrófico + LVA(Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo) Distrófico + PVA Distrófico. Distrófico = ácido = saturação por bases é inferior a 50%.
